Welcome to Web-Head
Weekly #211 - Vacation...over...
Welcome to the latest, greatest, Web-Head Weekly! My vacation came crashing to a halt on Friday and I'm still feeling the trauma. A mere 12 hours after I walked through the doors of my home, 40+ family members came rolling in for a July 4th celebration/pool party. After that, it was off to a cookout with friends. Sunday started with me driving to Knoxville to pick up our newest family member - Gizmo McAbee. There's nothing like 6 hours in a truck with a carsick puppy to 'ease' you back into reality. There also nothing like a homesick puppy whining and crying in the night to help you drift off to sleep. Refreshed and renewed, I'm off to work to see all my favorite customers and friends. I hope everyone had a great 4th and I'll be seeing you all soon.
DC COMICS

Wednesday Comics #1 (of 12) is out this week and it is something a little different. Think about the Sunday Funny pages and then add fantastic art and great creative teams to it and you'll start to get the idea. Wednesday comics is a weekly fold-out book written in short story bursts for maximum effect. Check it out. Red Robin #2 releases this week along with Batman #688 to satisfy your Bat-Cravings and the excellent Superman: World of Krypton #5 (of 12) keeps you caught up an all things Super... Check the gallery list below for all the other good DC comics releasing this week.
MARVEL COMICS

Our friends at Marvel are cutting us a little holiday slack this week and aren't putting out 19 ba-jillion books for a change. It IS, however, a week for the Mutie-lovers. Dark X-Men: Beginnings #1 (of 3), X-Men Legacy #226, Uncanny X-Men: First Class #1 (of 8), X-Men: Forever #3, Genext United #3 (of 5) and Wolverine: Noir #3 (of 4) are all releasing this week. Ms. Marvel #41 continues Brain Reed's excellent run on the title that managed to kill off its main character, replace her, and still be really good. With Carol Danvers out of the picture, things continue heating up for the upcoming War of the Marvel's. I'm not always a fan of Marvel's current management, but their comic quality has been good. With the exception of wanting Joe Q in the Gallows, I'm fairly satisfied with most of Marvel's offerings. Check out the Gallery list below for all their releases.
If you click on a preview or item, a new window will open from our friends at Comixology.com. When you are finished with the item, just close the window and you are right back at The Tangled Web where you started. When you want to add titles to your weekly pulls, be sure to e-mail both Daniel AND Dennis in case one of us are out during pulls. Better safe than sorry.
I'll see you all on Wednesday (if not sooner).
